How people will cling to one another in
order to justify their actions, or their claims.
Misery does indeed love company! I believe
the psychological term for it is "co-dependency".

If I haven't learned anything else in life, I have
learned that people generally believe what they
want to believe.

That is why Shamanism is based upon lies
and illusions. Because you can't tell a person
what the truth is, they have to find it out for
themselves.

Unfortunately most people are lazy, and don't
bother searching for the truth. That's where the
Shaman comes in and makes the person
question reality, by telling them a lie instead
of giving them the truth. It is much easier to
believe a lie, than it is to believe the truth.
And a Shaman is aware of this and acts
accordingly.

Am I a Shaman? Obviously NOT! I'm simply
too honest for a job like that! But I have met
at least one Shaman in my life.

Cheers.. ;-)

It's a shame that most people have to be tricked
into realizing the truth. When all it really takes
is an open heart, an open mind, and the curiosity
of a child.

Matthew 18:2-4
King James Version (KJV)

2And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst
of them,

3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become
as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

4Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the
same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Hello Bruce, shamanism CANNOT LIE,shamanism is nature and becoming one
with the spirit of nature and God and the physical world like American
Indians practice and should reconnect you to God and nature if
practiced properly within a few months,IT IS NOT an intellectual
religion like christianity which relies 90% on getting people to
follow words and symbology and moral codes of conduct and
fear, guilt, shame and sometimes lies or inaccurate misguided
information.

Yer WRONG Gordon, Shamanism HAS to lie.
Simply because so few people are willing to admit
the truth. Through deciphering the LIE the "acolyte"
finds the truth. The basis of every lie is the truth.

You believe the Shaman tells the truth, because
he tells you what you want to believe. Shamanism
is the basis of EVERY religion, including Christianity.
A perfect example of Christianity telling a lie, so that
people might learn the truth is "The Fall of Man".

The Jews don't believe it, the Mormons don't believe it,
but Christians do, because they WANT to believe it.
Again it is easier for people to believe a lie than it is
for people to believe the truth. And you just helped
me to prove it. Thanks..

P.S. Every ritual is based upon Shamanism. The ritual
is but an illusion, but what you learn from it is the
truth.

That's actually where Detractors get their juice from.
They see the lies for what they are, LIES! But sadly
they never realize the truth within the lie.

Actually it would be better for me to never say "never",
because everyone will realize the truth eventually.
It might not be in their lifetime here on earth,
but eventually they will.
