How people will cling to one another in
order to justify their actions, or their claims.
Misery does indeed love company! I believe
the psychological term for it is "co-dependency".
If I haven't learned anything else in life, I have
learned that people generally believe what they
want to believe.
That is why Shamanism is based upon lies
and illusions. Because you can't tell a person
what the truth is, they have to find it out for
themselves.
Unfortunately most people are lazy, and don't
bother searching for the truth. That's where the
Shaman comes in and makes the person
question reality, by telling them a lie instead
of giving them the truth. It is much easier to
believe a lie, than it is to believe the truth.
And a Shaman is aware of this and acts
accordingly.
Am I a Shaman? Obviously NOT! I'm simply
too honest for a job like that! But I have met
at least one Shaman in my life.
Cheers.. ;-)
